Hi, all!

We thank each and every one of you who visited our humble little eatery and camp store during our first season. We thank those who enjoyed our food and offered compliments. We thank those who offered suggestions. We thank those who offered constructive criticism. We even thank those who told us we were crap. We learned from all of you, and we're coming back in May better in every way. You taught, we learned. We look forward to seeing our return customers, and we look forward to seeing those we disappointed but will give us a second chance. We cannot possibly please everyone all the time, but we sure as hell won't stop trying!

In the meantime, we wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and all the best 2026 has to offer. See you on Mother's Day Weekend...Cheers!

Hey, folks! I have about a dozen of these pails free to a good home. They're ice cream pails, so definitely food grade. They hold 11L or just short of 3 gallons. The lids fit tightly, and they've been washed. They make great little garbage pails in tight spaces, or could hold a lot of your homemade stew or chili for the hunting camp. Come by on the weekend to grab one or two if you'll find them useful. Cheers!

With respect to our previous post, we want to offer homemade pumpkin and apple pie for dessert. Normally, we ask Karen Lipps in Denbigh to bake our pies, but she's already overloaded for that weekend. So, we'd like to ask someone local to us in Cloyne or Northbrook to bake pies for us. We're looking for perhaps 3 of each, pumpkin and apple, 12" pies. If you have a specialty you'd like us to have, maybe a blueberry or bumbleberry pie, we can try a couple of those, too! Everyone who orders a slice will know who baked it, cuz we'll tell 'em! 🥰😋
