We’re so excited to announce that ORIGAMI Cup Canada 2026 is returning to Toronto on Friday, August 7, 2026 🎉

This official ORIGAMI Japan event will be co-hosted by Rogue Wave Coffee and .

Competitor tickets go on sale Friday, June 5 at 7:00pm MDT.
Tip: you can use the “Notify me when available” button to get an email when tickets go live.

There are only 27 competitor spots available, limited to 1 ticket per person.
Attendee tickets will be available in early July.

🏆 The first-place winner will receive a trip to Japan to compete in the World ORIGAMI Cup in May 2027, including return flights and accommodations.

A beautiful Geisha from Altieri in Panama 🇵🇦

This Ale Geisha River Flow Fermentation Natural comes from the Mimas Estate in Boquete, grown at 1820 masl beside the Baru Volcano forest reserve.

The process is what makes this one really interesting. After sorting, the cherries were placed in GrainPro bags and submerged in cold river water for 4 days, then slowly dried for 30 days in a controlled environment.

In the cup, we’re getting notes of nectarine, hibiscus, honey, grapefruit, and pomegranate. Sweet, floral, and bright, with a really elegant Geisha profile.

We also just added the MK Studio × Rogue Wave Mix Wave Server, a 500ml handmade porcelain server for brewing a bigger batch to share, or just making your solo brew feel a little more special.

Every MK Studio piece is handmade, so the colour, glaze, and pattern will vary slightly from piece to piece. No two are exactly the same!

We're excited to be the very first buyer of Kent and Kristopher!

Kent and Kristopher were born into a coffee family helping on their own family farm as well as the farm of their uncle, Wilford Lamastus — one of the best specialty coffee producers in Panama. And they do all of this alongside their day jobs as mechanics.

This year, Kent and Kristopher have endeavoured to begin processing their own specialty coffee on their family farm. We are very honoured to get to be a part of their journey from the start, and we are looking forward to many more fantastic coffees in the years to come.

About the coffees

Geisha Natural Lot 05 is a classic natural, sun-dried on raised beds for 21–30 days.

Geisha Natural Lot 06 is an Anaerobic Slow Dry process.
It was fermented for 72 hours in GrainPro bags underwater to maintain a stable 15–20ºC temperature and then sun-dried on raised beds for 21–30 days.

Kent and Kristopher grew up in a coffee family, and this year they began processing their own specialty coffee on the family farm. We’re honoured to be their very first buyer and to be part of this journey from the beginning.

Lot 05 is a classic Natural Geisha, sun-dried on raised beds.
Lot 06 is an Anaerobic Slow Dry Natural Geisha, fermented underwater in GrainPro bags before drying.
