Kai's last shift with us was yesterday!

This egar young man took the opportunity to work in Norris point in gros Morne national park in Newfoundland this summer season. The restaurant chef Danny spent time working at is taking kai in for their very busy summer season Sugar Hill Inn, NL and we couldn't be more excited for him.

Well there's no hiding the news now. We officially have a patio!! We had our friend Miq whip up these two beautiful portable patios and my gosh it really upped Charlie's seating capacity and store front appearance. With our new air conditioning system, plant arrangements from temperate gardens, and new mural art by Genevieve Townsend it's really feeling complete.

We also have a finalized drink menu.... So hopefully we'll see you folks this Sunday for a Father's "Funday"!

It's that time of year again! The summer night market in eganville. We will only be running this menu this Saturday evening June 13th 5-10 and will be walk in only!

Come get some small quick eats to enjoy here or take with you to experience the other stores and vendors!

We will be hosting two artists out front as well!
Colleen Beanish with her watercolour and colours of Canada by Barb Marion she makes tie dye clothes.

This menu is very special as we were given permission to run an inspired dish based off chef Lo's (one of chef Danny's main mentors) signature smoked trout frittes.

We had so much fun running this custom menu for a party that booked the restaurant for Wednesday evening.

We can't believe it's already the may long weekend!!
It's also lobster season in Newfoundland. So we picked some up!! Time flies in the kitchen, here's our growing chef Ady channeling chef Danny's energy around lobster!!

This is our surf and turf feature for the weekend

Butter poached lobster with a pan seared tenderloin. Plated with potato nests, seasonal veg and bearnaise sauce.
