To our amazing community — thank you once again for showing up, supporting local, and helping make this campaign such a huge success. Every cookie purchased helped support our childcare centres, and we are beyond grateful for the generosity shown throughout the week.

Souris Family Pharmacy had a special request this week to have some “branded” cookies to help show their support of our campaign this week. We ended up with a little pink eye, some cold sores, and a few other minor ailments that thankfully they could help us with.

Did you know that in Saskatchewan, pharmacists are able to assess and treat a variety of minor ailments, including:

• Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
• Cold sores
• Ear infections
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Allergic reactions like hay fever
• Skin conditions like mild acne or eczema

This means you can often skip the wait for a clinic appointment and get help sooner, which is such a game changer for busy families.
