While the snow might be deep today, we are dreaming of golden sunsets and the incredible flavors of the Saskatchewan soil. We are thrilled to announce that the Food Soulmates, Chef Josh Miller and Chef Gayla Gilbertson, are returning to the valley for our Supper in the Orchard series this year!
This duo brings a revelation of prairie cooking to our tables. Josh Miller, our beloved Bearded Prairie Chef and MasterChef Canada finalist, pairs his scientific curiosity for local ingredients with a deep love for the stories told around a dinner table. Joining him is Gayla Gilbertson of The Happy Nun Cafe, who specializes in Grandma's cooking with a twist, elevated comfort food that honors her roots on the family farm.
Together, they take simple Saskatchewan flavors and push the boundaries of what you expect from a prairie harvest.
