If this was 2009 Facebook, this album would definitely be called “The Buffy Crossover” 😂
So many familiar faces, so many new friends made, and a whole lot of celebrating some pretty incredible people in our arts community! A huge congratulations to all the Buffy winners and nominees! What an amazing community to be part of!
Now to cue the thank yous!!
First to Arts Council Wood Buffalo for letting us be part of such an incredible event. This after party may be our new favorite yearly happening!! We heard more than once that nobody throws an afterparty quite like Tavern, and we're pretty damn proud of that! 😉
Huge shoutout to Kirsten Aleatha Katelyn Browett, who were absolute machines all night! We really didn't know what to expect, but these two took on the challenge and crushed it. We learned a thing or two, and next year we'll be even more prepared, bigger and better!
To Good Spread, thank you for getting back together (for at least one night, fingers crossed theres more) and letting us surprise everyone with your performance! Tavern has been your biggest fans since day 1!! And to everyone who came out and kept the party going, you sure know how to make a night memorable! 😉
And a huge thank you to See You Next Thursday for being part of such an incredible night! Keep your eyes peeled for their upcoming show dates!
But the biggest thank you goes to Lou Rosie! She's a huge part of See You Next Thursday and the woman who orchestrated the entire music side of Taverns afterparty. From the ideas to making it all come together, none of it would have happened without her!
What a night. What a crew. What a party. ❤️
