Inspired by the beauty and style of these Italian watercraft, we have sought to embody these qualities in the building with its grand terraces, gardens and fountain, the dining room's nautical influenced design, and the ambience and food. Riva is located in the historic Golden Apple building which underwent an intensive restoration and renovation from 2010-2012, the dream of Joe and Lucie Pal.

All of our desserts are made in house by our lovely pastry chef, Lyndsay. Everything from the lady finger biscuits in the tiramisu to the chocolate bark that tops the copetta as well as this chocolate mousse (a new addition to the menu, and irrisistably rich and decadent!)

Join us on the front patio for our first live music night of the season with the Birds Of A Feather duo.

John Wilberforce is a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing music around Eastern Ontario for 30 years. He writes and records original songs in his home studio and has produced several albums for local artists.

Kelly Latimer has been performing shows for several years and also performs as a vocalist in “SOS - The ABBA Experience”. She has recorded vocals for various artists in the studio.

We will also have a special dinner on the patio of lasagne, Caesar salad, and garlic bread.

Space is limited and first-time, first-serve.

We can't wait to have John and Kelly back! ☀️🎶

We make our ricotta gnocchi in house, and it's accompaniments change seasonally to reflect the produce which is ripening and freshest at the time. Currently these Italian dumpling nestle into a fresh herb butter with slivered asparagus and a generous grating of parmesan.

This is one of several new spring dishes on the menu!

Two weeks from today our summer sounds on the patio returns! From 6-9pm each Thursday this summer enjoy singer-songwriter acoustic music on the front patio at Riva. New this summer, we'll also have live jazz on Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm beginning June 16th 🎶🎷

We hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend so far!

We will be open tomorrow for the holiday Monday for both lunch and dinner, and it looks like it'll be a gorgeous day on the patio again ☀️

The long weekend is almost upon us!

Beginning tomorrow night, our dining hours extend by one hour each night. We will be open until 9:45pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 8:45pm all other nights.

Starting on Victoria Day, we will also be open for lunch 7 days a week! Come visit us from 11:30am on weekdays, and 11am on weekends.

New spring items made their debut on the menu today, including the return of the Caprese salad, a light and bright cavatelli pasta makeover with semi-dried tomatoes, a brand new vegetarian main dish with mushrooms as the star, and more!

The opened their season today with a preview performance of Women Of The Fur Trade (official opening night is tomorrow!)

We kicked off our pre-theatre prix fixe menu which we'll run 4:30-5:30 each performance evening.

We have an early season appearance of the Caprese salad in the appetizers, and this incredibly fresh and flavourful chicken Diavolo as one of the main options, and a bright and tangy lemon curd tart in the desserts

This menu will evolve as as the summer progresses, so stay tuned for updates!
