Point Farms Market and Miniature Golf

It is our last day as owners of Point Farms Market. It has been our absolute pleasure to have spent the last seven years serving our friends, neighbours, campers, and cottagers as has been done here for over 50 years.

We are so thankful for the friendships we have developed over the ice cream counter and through the fry truck window.

A special thank you to our staff who worked so closely with us over the years to make this a special place for so many families. You became part of our family.

What's next for us? We have a new home in Goderich and "normal" jobs and will live a "normal" life - for a while, at least. A shout out to our local small business owners, your tireless work is so vital to our community!

What's next for Point Farms Market? We'll leave that to the new owners to share.

We're sad that this all happened in the off-season and we won't get to say goodbye to many of our summer customers, but if anyone would like to stay in touch, we can be reached at [email protected]

Friends, neighbours, customers...

It is with mixed emotions that we announce our intention to sell Point Farms Market. The last seven years have been a wonderful experience for us and our family because we had such fantastic support from our friends, neighbours, and loyal customers. We also owe a huge debt of gratitude to our amazing staff who have been such a big part of our success.

The support from our community (near and far) allowed us to survive the pandemic - but the last 3 seasons have taken their toll mentally and emotionally and it is time for us to make a change.

What's next for us? Arminta is now a permanent full-time ECE with the Avon Maitland School Board and Colin has recently accepted a position with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business where he will use his experiences as a small business owner to help other small businesses. In short, we're staying close by - we love our Goderich/ACW community!

We're looking forward to enjoying our first ice cream cones from the other side of the counter!

Happening Today!!

It looks like the weather will be great for this popular event. We will start at 5pm for the littlest folks who may not be ready for the corn maze after dark... then once the sun is down, the ghouls and goblins will emerge!

We expect to wrap things up around 9pm.

That's a wrap on 2022!! We will be open one more day on October 29th for the return of our Spooky Corn Maze event!

It's always bittersweet to lock the doors on on Thanksgiving Monday.. We are so thankful for all of our customers - some of whom we've seen grow up over the seven years we've been here. Wishing everyone a safe winter!
