The wait is officially over, Grand Bend! 🥳🚗 Starting tomorrow, June 26th, ALL traffic lanes are reopening as the Grand Bend Bridge Project wraps up.🎉
​Huge shoutout to the crews who worked hard to get this done just in time for the weekend. Cruising through town just got a whole lot smoother. See you on the roads! 🙌✨

🚧 Grand Bend Bridge Project Update: The project team is happy to share that all traffic lanes along the bridge will be opened by tomorrow, June 26.

The earlier lane reopening is thanks to the significant work by the project crews over the last couple of weeks, and we thank them for those efforts!

Work is still required for the west sidewalk, so that portion of the sidewalk will remain closed this weekend.

There will also be some lane closures in effect on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 to allow for the sidewalk work and clean up on the west side of the bridge. Any remaining finishing work will be completed in the fall, beginning after Labour Day.

The project team wants to sincerely thank the community for their patience and understanding throughout this construction project.

We are deeply moved by the kind words in our last post, but honestly, we didn't do it for the praise. When our town hurts, stepping up isn't anything extra—it is just our basic duty as human beings to look out for one another.
The real credit belongs entirely to the brave first responders Shores Fire and Emergency Service and the resilient people of Grand Bend. Thank you for your support, and let's keep taking care of each other.

Neighbors helping neighbors. 🤝

Seeing the devastation in Grand Bend today is heartbreaking, but seeing our community come together reminds us of how resilient we are.
We wanted to make sure the brave firefighters and first responders on the scene had the energy to keep going, so we dropped off some fresh pizzas to fuel their incredible efforts.

Our hearts are heavy today as we watch these devastating images from Grand Bend😟😞. We are so incredibly sorry for the Rona team and the entire community facing this heartbreaking loss. A store is more than just a building; it’s a hub for local families, a workplace for neighbors, and a pillar of the community.
