GRACE.

With it being Sunday - it feels right to talk about this 🤎

Grace might just be one of the hardest things to keep at the forefront of our minds - in everything we do.

Our words.
Our actions.
Our attitudes.
Our relationships!

Grace is a choice.. to have patience and kindness, empathy in moments of chaos. Softness and understanding towards eachother and most importantly - FORGIVENESS.

I see my weakness with this every single day. Especially this weekend! These lineups were kicking our butt… and it wasn’t just my truck. Things were running out by the end of the day.. people were getting tired. Everyone’s trying their best…

Every single vendor at Grande Prairie Stompede was getting slammed - AMAZING - by the way! Great in terms of business.

Less great in terms of grace.. lots of opportunity to fail.

So today I need that reminder!!!

- and If I do - so do others!

Cheers to Sunday, a new day! A new opportunity to start with grace and love!

WOW. Is all I can say…

What an unreal learning curve this event has been.. I hired 6 girls to help me out with this and even that probably wasn’t enough.

WE DIDNT STOP YESTERDAY! 🥵

We had a lineup going for almost 9 hours straight..

And then ontop of that!?!?

The amount of silent followers that came to say hi 🥹 affirms this was still the right choice for my life. It makes my heart so full every time you guys tell me..

“I’ve been following you since the beginning”

That… I did not see coming. I guess none of this I saw coming but especially that one. It takes all I have not to become a puddle when I hear things like that!

So ..THANK YOU YOU SPECIAL HUMANS!

You make my world a better place. Every single one of you..

And major major thank you to my GIRLS!! The ones slaving in my trailer with me.. I’m so proud of the team work and service these girls are putting on! I don’t think I could have anyone better for this.. than the girls you’ve seen in the trailer this weekend. These girls are freakin all stars… I see God through all of them!!! 🤎

WHY AM I SO NERVOUS!?!?

😍 At Grande Prairie Stompede today getting trailer set up.. it’s been non stop the last 2 days getting prepped for this.. but truthfully.. I am so excited!!

This is such a cool opportunity and I am immensely grateful to Evergreen Park for inviting me to this 🥹

We have a beautiful forcast the next few days so I hope to see lots of you here! Chuckwagons have always been something I loved so much, I’ve been out watching the practices in the afternoons here.. if you didn’t know - between 12 and 5 there’s private practices at the track. It’s far more intimate and quiet.. neat to watch.

You won’t see anymore before stompede now but next year - go a week early to check them out in the afternoons!

Anywhoooo … off to finish setting up!

Thank you so much you guys for clearing me out today! Sold everything I had in the trailer which was the whole point!!

Now I get a nice clean empty trailer to spend the next few days corking full in hopes to serve I don’t know how many thousands of people 😅 honestly… wish me luck. I’m absolutely certain I’m going to need it 💀
