Buon Gusto is located in the historic Victoria Hotel building in St. George’s Square, Downtown Guelph. Like many restaurants in Italy, also located in restored historical buildings, Buon Gusto has a warm and casual, contemporary-classic décor with its exposed stone walls and interior treatments. ino caputo tipo 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy, to make our pizzas in the traditional Neapolitan thin-crust style, baking them at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 seconds. Our menu also features regional pastas and small plates of antipasti, designed for sharing with family and friends. We have a passion for keeping things simple…using high-quality, often locally sourced ingredients. Some changes are on the horizon...

Our dining room and kitchen will be undergoing renovations, and we will be closed July 27 - August 11.

While the space may look a little different, the heart of Buon Gusto will never change: thoughtful food, warm hospitality, and a table worth gathering around.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of good food, beautiful whisky and even better company.

For those who attended, you brought so much life to the room, and we’re incredibly grateful for every opportunity to break bread with this community and collaborate with local businesses we truly believe in.

A special thank you to John Sleeman & Sons for sharing their craft, their stories and some very fabulous whisky with us.
