📢 Another Schedule Update for This Week

We apologize for making another change to our hours, and we appreciate your understanding.

With our small team working hard, being open for the StanFest Roadshow, and a busy week of Come Home Week events, we’ve made one final adjustment to our schedule.

Instead of being open during the day on Sunday, we’ll be closed Sunday daytime so our staff can get some well-earned rest. We’ll reopen Sunday evening from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM so everyone can enjoy the Come Home Week Closing Night Celebration on the Guysborough Waterfront

🕚 Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🕚 Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

☀️ It’s a beautiful day to head down to the Guysborough Waterfront!

Cast Away Cafe & Pub is open today from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Come early, grab a great meal, enjoy a cold drink, and relax in the beer garden before the StanFest Roadshow featuring Daniel James McFadyen takes the stage.

🎶 The concert begins at 7:00 PM and is a ticketed event upstairs. If you don’t have a ticket, you’re still welcome to spend the evening with us. The concert will be playing through speakers downstairs and in the beer garden, so you can enjoy the music while soaking up a beautiful summer evening on the Guysborough waterfront.

🍺 While you’re here, try the limited-edition Big Spruce StanFest 30th Anniversary Lager. It’s available for a limited time and is the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of StanFest.

Our Summer Concert Series continues with another special performance we’ve worked hard to bring to Guysborough.

On August 29, we’re proud to welcome Frank Sultana from Australia alongside Jon Hines from Nova Scotia for what promises to be a memorable evening of live music.

Our goal has always been to bring artists to Guysborough that you don’t often get the chance to see in smaller communities or on regular Maritime tours. Shows like this, along with Shred Kelly travelling from British Columbia, are part of that commitment.

We hope you’ll come out, support live music, and help us continue bringing unique concerts like these to the Guysborough waterfront.

🎶 Tuesday, July 21 at Cast Away Cafe & Pub 🎶

We’ll be open 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM downstairs for food, drinks, and a relaxed evening on the Guysborough waterfront.

Our downstairs lounge, lower deck, and beer garden will all be open, giving you plenty of space to hang out with friends, enjoy a meal, grab a cold drink, or challenge someone to a game of darts.

Even if you don’t have a ticket to the concert, you can still enjoy the atmosphere. We’ll be playing the live concert through our speaker system downstairs, so you won’t miss the music while relaxing on the lower level or out in the beer garden.

Upstairs, the StanFest Roadshow featuring Daniel James McFadyen will be taking place. This is a ticketed concert, with tickets available through StanFest or Cook’s Gas Bar.

Whether you’re coming for the concert, dinner, drinks, or simply to enjoy a summer evening by the harbour, we’d love to see you at Cast Away Cafe & Pub.

Summer concert season isn’t slowing down in Guysborough!

After an incredible run of live music during the Guysborough Arts Festival , we’re excited to bring another fantastic Canadian band to the Guysborough waterfront and give everyone another reason to get out on the dance floor.

Coming off performances at the Halifax Urban Folk Festival and the Larlee Creek Hullabaloo Festival, Shred Kelly is making a stop in Guysborough with their signature mix of alternative folk and rock. Known for energetic live performances and catchy songs, they’ve toured across Canada, the United States, Europe, and the UK, earning a reputation as one of Canada’s best live acts.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to grab your friends, enjoy a cold drink, and spend a summer night dancing by the harbour, this is it. We’re hoping to see the dance floor full once again as we welcome another outstanding touring band to our community.

What a night!

Last night’s Last Call closing concert featuring Our Fathers Fools was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible Guysborough Arts Festival . The place was packed with locals and visitors, all enjoying a great summer evening together. It was wonderful to see people dancing, laughing, catching up with friends, and celebrating everything that makes our community special.

A huge thank you to Our Fathers Fools for putting on such a fantastic show. They know exactly how to get a crowd on their feet and keep the energy going all night long.

The Guysborough Arts Festival has been an amazing week of art, music, and theatre. It’s been inspiring to see so many people come together to support local artists, performers, and our community. We truly hope this becomes an annual tradition for Guysborough.
