A new Friday night tradition is coming to the Guysborough Waterfront!

The Guysborough Players and the Guysborough Waterfront Development Society are launching a weekly Chase the Ace fundraiser at Cast Away Café.

Starting Friday, June 5, one lucky ticket holder will win the weekly draw and earn the chance to uncover the Ace of Spades and take home the growing jackpot. To get things rolling, the jackpot already starts with an extra $500 added!

Tickets are available throughout the week during regular café hours and right up until 8:00 PM on draw night.

This Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm we’re serving up a BBQ Chicken Burger loaded with flavour.

A juicy chicken breast topped with our beer chipotle BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, mayo, house made pickled red onions, and fresh slaw, all piled onto a toasted bun.

We finally have a sign for the entrance to the Guysborough Waterfront! 🎉

Now we just need to get the sign post built and installed. Keep an eye out over the next little while because our new sign should be going up soon.

It’s a small addition, but we’re excited to make it a little easier for visitors and locals alike to find their way down to the waterfront. We can’t wait to see it standing at the entrance welcoming everyone.

We’re excited to be open for Sunday Breakfast all summer long from 10:00am to 2:00pm down at the Guysborough Waterfront

This Sunday’s Breakfast Special is a loaded Breakfast Bowl with hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, onion, mushrooms, peppers, 2 eggs, hollandaise, and fresh avocado. A hearty way to start your Sunday by the harbour.

We’ll also have our regular Harbour Breakfast available:
