This year marks 10 years since my mom opened the doors to her Portuguese café here in Hamilton—a dream she held in her heart since leaving her small village in Portugal so many years ago.
What started as her vision became a vibrant gathering place full of love, culture, and community. None of it would’ve been possible without you—our amazing customers, the Hamilton community, our family, and the close friends who helped keep this place running behind the scenes. Your support helped bring a little piece of Portugal to Canada, and that has meant the world to her.
Now, as she enters a new stage in life, my mom has made the heartfelt decision to pass the torch and sell the restaurant. After a decade of hard work, she’s ready to embrace a slower pace—spending more time with family and taking care of herself. 🌿
This isn’t goodbye—it’s the next chapter. One full of pride, love, and deep appreciation for everything this journey has brought. Our last day is Friday July 11th 2025.
