⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of my favourite local suppliers deserves a shoutout 🌱

I’ve been ordering fresh microgreens from Veggie Confetti for the past few months and they’ve been consistently excellent. Everything is incredibly fresh, the quality is outstanding, and they always make my boards and platters look even better.

I love supporting local businesses, especially small teams that genuinely care about what they do. If you come across them at a farmers’ market or festival around Simcoe County this summer, or you’re looking for fresh microgreens for your own kitchen, definitely check them out.

✨ We recently surpassed 2,500 followers and since there are so many new faces around here, I’d like to properly introduce myself!

👩🏻‍🍳 Hi, I’m Erica, Chef and Owner of Briar Hill Gourmet!

This year marks 30 years since I started my career in restaurants! That’s right - I started my culinary apprenticeship in 1996 at the age of 17 and I’ve devoted my life to hospitality ever since.

I’ve spent a lifelong career in fine dining restaurants, taught culinary arts to hundreds of aspiring chefs, and catered countless celebrations. I started Briar Hill Gourmet five years ago as a way to combine everything I love about food into one business.

Today, I specialize in chef-crafted charcuterie and high end catering, with the same standards for quality, technique, and presentation that I’ve carried with me throughout my career.

I also love getting to know the people behind the accounts I follow! If you’re a local business owner, fellow chef, artist, or content creator, I’m here to support and engage with you and I’m so happy you found me!

Our Strawberry Rhubarb jam is back on the menu! Made with rhubarb harvested fresh from my garden and sweet Ontario strawberries, cooked the old-fashioned way with nothing but real fruit and sugar.

Available by the jar while quantities last.

My favourite way to enjoy it is spread thick on a toasted English muffin for breakfast. What’s yours?
