I have something special to celebrate!

My daughter Alexia illustrated a children’s book, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. Seeing her artwork become part of a book that families can read and enjoy together is such a wonderful feeling. She has put so much heart into these illustrations, and I can’t wait for you to see them for yourselves.

We’re hosting a launch party on October 24 from 10 am to 2 pm at our restaurant, Di Muzio Ristorante, at 152 Victoria Street in downtown Kamloops!

Goodnight Rainbow Within, written by Lesley Thellend, takes children through the seven colours and chakras, from their root to their crown. Each bedtime poem explores things like feeling safe, expressing emotions, believing in yourself, giving and receiving love, and using your voice. Alexia’s beautiful illustrations bring that rainbow to life.

Lesley wrote it to give families a way to bring energy healing into their bedtime routine, with a little time to slow down, connect and help children feel loved and comfortable being themselves. There’s a companion workbook too, with questions and colouring pages to explore together.

We’ll have free rainbow cupcakes, a prize draw, snack food to purchase, and copies of the book and workbook for sale. Come meet Alexia and Lesley, have a cupcake and help us celebrate. It would mean so much to me to see people come out and support my daughter and her art!
