𝐓𝐨 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲,

After 12 incredible years of serving the Westside, we want to share some important news. We have made the difficult decision to sell the Yamato Westside location. This chapter has been filled with unforgettable moments, amazing customers, and so much community support, and we are deeply grateful for everyone who dined with us over the years. 🙏

For those who may not know, Yamato has always been locally owned and operated by Don and Mai Pham, who have put their heart and soul into every aspect of the restaurant. While we are bidding farewell to the Westside, we are excited to let you know that our original Yamato location in Kelowna, located at 2575 Highway 97N, will continue to operate! 🍣🥢

At Yamato Kelowna, you can still enjoy all of your favorites from our fresh, handcrafted sushi and flavorful teriyaki to a variety of other Asian dishes. Plus, don’t miss our 𝐃𝐢𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 available every Saturday and Sunday, featuring delicious in-house made dim sum.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your unwavering support at the Westside location over the past 12 years. Your loyalty has meant the world to us, and we hope to see many of you at our Kelowna Yamato for years to come.

Sorry for the inconvenience but due to shortage of staff we will be closed at West Kelowna Yamato today for lunch. We will still be open for service 4:30-8PM for dinner service!
Kelowna location open regular hours.

We will be open again tomorrow at the West Kelowna Yamato location!!

Because of the removal of the chlorinators from the WFN water supply, we have been closed since August 18th. Today at 4:30PM we have been officially downgraded from a Do Not Consume to a Boil Water Notice.

Because of this we won’t have ice or water but we will still have pops, tea, beer, wine, and bottled water for sale.

We want to express our gratitude to all of the heroes that have helped in fighting the fire that we experienced. We are eternally grateful for all of the community effort. It was truly amazing to see!

We are looking for qualified individuals for part-time work with the possibility for full-time hours at West Kelowna Yamato.

The restaurant is located at 210-525 Highway 97 S in the Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre (by the Extreme Theatre and new bowling alley).

We are looking for someone with good work ethic, the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and with a good attitude in providing good customer service!
