We are on a one month countdown after this weekend! Its grad week and I've been busy thinking about the needs of my kid this week ( and thinking about water... so much water 🤯🙄) but next week I will return my attention to my customers.

It will be business as usual at the cottage till around mid july and that point I will be closing it down. Unless this weather hastens my withdrawal by flooding the place again.

I've been hearing people say we are already closed and i would like to assure you that is not only false but also ridiculous considering all the people coming and going from the cafe.

I am not closed but the reporting that I am is probably hurting business as much as the flooding.

I will continue with the grocery services while I figure out my next steps and I have had someone show interest in taking it over when I am ready to let it go.

That made me very happy and i had been concerned because it is one service that I provided that I really did not want our community to lose.

I am really hoping that we can all enjoy a few more beautiful days on the deck, enjoying good company and good food before the old house is empty once more.

I wonder how long it will take for the smell of cinnamon and coffee to fade...

Anyways! We are still here and we are happy to serve you for a few more weeks!

Good morning! I still have some water issues but everything is working ...sorta.

Today we will be serving turkey bacon melt sandwiches or bbq chicken salads with chicken and dumpling soup. I only have the one today.

I have chocolate, butterscotch, grasshopper and banana cream mini pies. Saskatoon, raspberry and oreo cheesecakes.
