Reintroducing book club!✨

Each month we host a cafe book club with our pals at Silent Book Club Kitchener ! We choose a book, which you can find posted in the cafe or on our socials.
At the end of the month, we gather at the cafe to discuss our thoughts, answer some prompts and drink some fun drinks!

July is here and so are our new drinks! 🧡

🌼 RHUBARB SPRITZ: homemade rhubarb syrup, sparkling water & espresso over ice.
🌼 ### VANILLA COKE: ice, classic coke, espresso & silky vanilla cold foam.
🌼 ICED GRAPEFRUIT TEA: homemade grapefruit syrup & grapefruit oolong tea over ice.
🌼 ICED HORCHATA LATTE: ice, Honduran horchata, espresso & a lil cinnamon.*

*Honduran horchata might be a little different than the Mexican version most people are familiar with. Ours has a zesty kick from the addition of lemon zest and is quite nutty from morro and sesame seeds! It makes for an especially delicious base for our Honduran espresso ✨

Confuse The Parents is Kitchener based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist duo made up of Dayna-Rose Shapiro and Aleistar Cain. They perform original songs and creative covers that combine an experimental blend of Indie, Alternative, Jazz, Neo Soul and R&B. Their both wholesome and emotionally heartfelt lyrics touch on topics such as struggling with depression and anxiety, neurodivergence, healing through self-expression and creating art, connection with nature and animals, and the importance of community.

We’re taking a break in our usual cafe content to bring you, a kitty that needs a home!✨

A dear friend of ours has spent months and months trying to acclimate little Mochi with her other 2 cats with no success. Mochi is very much loved but with the best interests of all of the kitties involved they have decided rehoming to a single cat household would be best.

From current owners:
We are looking to rehome our most recent addition, Mochi. She is not getting along with our resident cats. Looking for a caring home where she would be the only pet.
Mochi is a 3 year old domestic long hair. She is spayed, microchipped, and has all her shots. Please reach out to 519-897-9731 if you are interested. Thank you for your support in finding Mochi a new home!

Live music this Saturday with the lovely .lembke ✨ For real this time!!

Sonja Lembke conveys the emotions of her songs with a dynamic voice. Intricate lyrics deal with challenges, harmonious sounds create depth and hope. Influences like Twenty One Pilots, Sia, and Dolores O’Riordan shaped her style. In 2020, the singer-songwriter from Mönkeberg, Germany released her first EP “Ways” – a collection of ballads about themes connected to mental health and finding one’s way in life. Working towards her first full-length album, her recent singles address gender-based violence, homesickness, self-care, and relationships.
