REGARDING CHASE THE ACE.

In the last couple weeks there has been alot of confusion regarding Chase The Ace at Lakeview.
Hopefully with this post we will be able to inform everyone clearly, and settle the confusion.

First off, Lakeview does not run the Chase the Ace, the Lions Club does. Lakeview is simply just where it's held.

Secondly, No matter which establishment something of this sort is held, there will always be a maximum capacity. Wristbands are given out by Lakeview Staff when capacity is close to being reached. Spots are not held or reserved.

Thirdly, With the Jackpot being so high, it has brought alot of people from different communities. People are choosing to come and sit at the establishment from opening hours, until the end of the draw. Hoping this will give them a chance at the Jackpot. Keep in mind ticket sales don't start until 5:30PM. Those choosing to sit in the establishment for hours, is making their own decision to do so. This also affects our capacity.
Leaving a jacket on the chair and leaving the establishment, then coming back at ticket sales will not work for reserving seats, as other customers may like to sit and have dinner.

Fourthly, When it comes to the ticket sales. It's first come, first serve. The line for tickets has been a zoo, there has been a $100 limit per sale. This tries to ensure more people have a chance at the Jackpot.
Remember this is also a gamble. It's a person's choice when they decide to stand in line, and how many times. It's not the Lakeview Staffs Job to monitor the line.

Lastly, VLTs will not be held as a person stands in line for tickets. VLT holding time is no longer than 15 mintues. You cannot play VLTs and cut in line with your group later. If you choose to leave your machine for longer, you're choosing to give up your machine. This will ensure other customers can play also.

Lakeview Staff are trying their best to accommodate everyone. Honestly there's only so much we can do, please keep in mind we are only people too.

Please let's bare with eachother, and make this event a fun outing for everyone.

Hi Lac du Bonnet, I would like to apologize for the situation with the "Comedy show" and "The Chase the Ace".
We will have the comedy show at a later date and on a Saturday, and "Chase the Ace" will continue with no interruptions.

Lakeview Chase the Ace update
Hello everyone, we are just updating our wristband information for Friday, Sept. 6, 2024

#1. We will be putting wristbands on at 3 pm
# 2. There is a 200 persons capacity in the bar, and 75 persons capacity in the Chinese Restaurant.
#3. Without wristbands, there is no entrance into the building.

With the Chinese Restaurant closed until September 21st (they went on vacation), we are happy to bring slightly new menu for this Friday August 23rd's Chase The Ace. Food & Drinks will be served in the Chinese Restaurant side by our Lakeview Staff.
We appreciate the support from the community for the Lion's Chase The Ace.
