Well i have to say that felt like Mamma was here and made that special. Whenever she specifically was in charge of the lunch special, we would have to make a tonne and would ALWAYS sell out! Thats exactly what happened today. Thank you to everyone who came and i hope you all enjoyed and could taste the love.

Tomorrow’s lunch special will be a plate straight from my heart. Mamma’s lunch plate will include all the things ( in a reasonable portion - at least i will try lol ). ❤️

This Wednesday, July 8th marks what would have been Mamma’s 74th birthday. Everyone says “the first one of every special day is the hardest” but i don’t think this will ever get any easier. As I watched my Ma sad every anniversary of my Nonna and Nonno’s passing ( her mom and dad ), I understand more. I ask myself all the time, what would she say and i know me just staying in bed and closing shop for the day is not what she would want. Wednesday will be a very special day of amazing offerings. Pasta with meat sauce ( sacred batch of her last in freezer ) , traditional italian chicken cutlets , garden salad ( harvested from her back yard and planted with her own magical hands ) , Italian wedding soup and cannoli’s for dessert.
