Ladies getting ready for BBQ season!

This Pork Shoulder will be waiting for you tomorrow at Oasis RV Resort! IT will rest overnight in our warmer to allow all the juices to get back in it and reach its full tenderness level! Then we pull it make it ready for a Dirty Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, a Big Bob’s Baked Potato, Nachos or served by itself on a Sampler Platter.

Brisket will be smoked this evening, then braised overnight and will rest for at least 8 hours before being served. That is the key to a great Smoked Brisket.

Ribs and Chicken are smoked tomorrow afternoon and are ready for 5:00pm service! Are you ready at 5:00 tomorrow? I hope so! It is our last service of the summer with this menu.

We may pop up again in late September with some stuff we are testing out for next year…. Stay tuned!

Looking for some new BBQ Sauces and Hot Sauces? Look no further!

Our last Event with our Summer Menu is this Saturday at Oasis RV Resort

Not only can you come eat some great Summer BBQ, you can walk home with some sauces that will give you that Summer BBQ feel all fall!

We will have some sauces on site for sale but if you message us with a pre-order, we will make sure we have those ready for you.

The Regular Price is $12 per bottle but for our regular BBQ customers this weekend we will be selling them for only $10 per bottle.

We will be set up at 5pm for dinner service this Saturday. The last few events sold out really early so this weekend we are preparing more food so don’t be shy! Come on out and join the cool kids at Oasis! The band is hot, the beer is cold and the BBQ is kickin’!

We don’t serve fast food! We serve great food as fast as we can!

Well, folks, we are starting to sell out early on a more consistent basis. Saturday we were sold out at 6:20. The previous week was 6:30. That is how BarBQ works down south. They prepare the food for the day and when it sells out, it sells out. Nothing gets carried over to the next day. But, it is not my intention to sell out quite that early. To be honest, it is a little embarrassing to sell out after only a little over an hour. That is not my intention. I recognize many people come and when they are turned away, it isn’t the most ideal situation.

I feel more confident in our consistent growing support. We will be increasing our par levels by about 30%. So, if you were one of the many unfortunate souls that showed up on Saturday only to be turned away, rest assured, we will be increasing the amount of food we prepare for our Final Service on August 31. I want to make sure everyone that comes will be served.

Although our Final Service will be Aug 31, we may do one or two more in September/October before Oasis RV Resort shuts down for the season. We may use that opportunity to go off menu and test out a few different items for you to try and give feedback for next year’s menu! If there is anything you want us to test out and have a recommendation, please leave it in the comments. We look forward to hearing from you!

This is what we are doing today! Potential flooding won’t stop us from smoking!

Did you know that on Friday’s, we smoke Pork Shoulders and Brisket? That’s right! We start smoking on Friday morning and try to get the shoulders and brisket finished by midnight so they can rest in the warmer overnight and absorb back all those juices that purge out during the cooking process. When 5pm rolls around, the meat is well rested and ready to serve.

Tomorrow will be a great day Oasis RV Resort. The weather forecast looks fantastic! Come out and enjoy some BarBQ!

Remember, you don’t need a Silver Spoon to eat great food!

People have been asking about our new menu item, the Big Bob’s Baked Potato. It is a large sized baked Russet potato loaded with Chorizo Queso, Baked Beans, and Pulled Pork with a drizzle of our signature Kansas City BBQ sauce.

This menu item is inspired by one of the pioneers of southern BBQ, Big Bob Gibson. Big Bob Gibson opened one of the first BBQ restaurants in the southern USA in a small town called Decatur Alabama. He is best known for developing the Alabama White BBQ sauce. We use a variation of that original sauce on our Alabama Chicken.

So to pay homage to one of the pioneers of Southern BBQ we added this item and named it after good ‘ole Big Bob Gibson.

Come try one tomorrow at Oasis RV Resort starting at 5pm. We will likely sell out tomorrow so try to arrive early!

Microsoft went down today but we didn’t! We are hard at work prepping for tomorrow at Oasis RV Resort for Family Day.

Come early because the last two events sold out before 7pm.

REMEMBER, we only use the finest oils in the preparation of our food, Butter and Bacon Fat!
