After nearly nine incredible years of serving comfort food, donuts, and creating memories with you all, we've made the difficult decision to close the doors at V Food Spot.
This wasn't an easy choice. V was built from a dream to make plant-based food approachable, nostalgic, indulgent, and something everyone could enjoy. What started as a small idea became something far bigger because of this community.
To everyone who ordered a donut before they sold out, brought skeptical family members in for their first vegan meal, celebrated milestones with us, shared our posts, left kind reviews, or simply chose us for lunch on a random Wednesday – thank you. You helped turn a tiny, family owned vegan restaurant into something truly special.
To our amazing staff - thank you doesn't begin to describe our gratitude. Your loyalty and hard work over the past year has made this dream possible. We couldn't have done this without you.
We've laughed with you, grown with you, watched families grow, met lifelong friends, and been welcomed into your lives in ways we never imagined. We are endlessly grateful.
Our final day of service will be Sunday, June 28th.
Until then, we'd love to see your faces, hear your favourite V memories, and serve up a few more Crunchwiches, Hunny Garlic wraps, and donuts before saying goodbye.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, supporting local, and allowing us to do what we loved for almost a decade.
