Welcome to the Brennan's Hill Hotel (The Hill) page. Established in 1901, the Brennan's Hill Hotel, formerly known as the Brennan’s Hill Beaver Lounge and Hotel, has been a local favorite for many years. In 1911 the hotel was purchased by Louis Monette, the first of many generations of Monettes to own “The Hill”. With this purchase, Louis established the hotel’s place in the history books
of Brennan’s Hill, La Belle Provence, and the Monette family. Originally a gentlemen-only club, The Brennan’s Hill Hotel was to become one of the bootlegging hubs of Western Quebec. Travelers arriving hot and thirsty at the local train station could hop a complimentary horse and carriage which would whisk them to relief at the hotel. Fast forward 102 years through five generations of Monette owners to the Brennan’s Hill Hotel of today. Having just undergone a major renovation, The Hill offers a quaint and cozy atmosphere to lift a pint, enjoy one of our signature burgers, shoot a game of pool or darts, and relax in the company of friends.
