It's with such mixed feelings that we close our doors today. ❤️
But what an incredible and fun journey!
17 years ago we moved from the busy life of the lower mainland in BC to here for a complete change of lifestyle! It was a great move!
After a few years of running the existing c-store, I took a chance and closed it down. And opened up, what would become my dream job. A little rural decor/gift shop and coffee house, that would also be primarily staffed with our young people for their first jobs.
That was ten years ago! Wow!
To all the great employees over these years, Thank you!! You helped to grow it into what it is today. you all are such a huge reason for its success. Each of you brought in something new and wonderful to our team. And the fun we had! ❤️ I always considered it an opportunity to teach and learn from each of you.

Thank you to all our customers. Without the continued and unwavering support of all our communities and beyond, we would not have kept the doors open. And we kept them open twelve months a year!! Thats support!

We have been so proud to call Lucky Lake and area our home. And we can't thank you all enough for the support and generosity you have given to us these past few months as we have had to face and navigate some major life challenges.
We don't know where our path will guide us now, but we are blessed to be surrounded by our incredible family, Sean and Katie, Ryan and Ashley and of course our three wonderful grandkids. And also by our loving and supportive extended family and friends.
So we will take each moment we have with Eric and make our best memories yet! ❤️
