π₯ͺ Lunchbox Tip: Think in food groups, not recipes.
Packing a balanced lunch doesn't have to be complicated or require a recipe. Instead, think of it as building a meal with three simple parts:
β A grain
β A protein
β A fruit or vegetable
Mix and match with foods you already have on hand. Simple combinations like whole wheat crackers + cheese + cucumber, whole wheat pita + hummus + fruit, or brown rice + beans + peppers can help create lunches that are balanced, easy to prepare, and child-friendly.
Focusing on food groups, rather than recipes, makes it easier to offer variety while supporting children's growth, learning, and play.
