Restaurant Operations Service Provider Opportunity
Location: Marmora and Lake Inn, Marmora, Ontario
Opportunity Overview
Marmora and Lake Inn is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Restaurant Operations Service Provider to establish and manage the day-to-day operations of our on-site restaurant.
This is not a salaried employment position and not a revenue-sharing opportunity. We are looking for an independent service provider who can lead restaurant services in a professional, efficient, and customer-focused manner while contributing to the overall guest experience at Marmora and Lake Inn.
Vision
Our goal is to provide quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner services for Inn guests, local residents, visitors, and event attendees while creating a welcoming destination known for excellent food and hospitality.
Scope of Services
Culinary Operations
Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
Create innovative menus, daily specials, and seasonal offerings.
Prepare a variety of cuisines, including Canadian, Indian, Continental, and specialty dishes.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
Manage kitchen operations, inventory, purchasing, and food preparation processes efficiently.
Hospitality & Customer Experience
Create an inviting, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant and Inn.
Assist with guest services when required, including supporting check-ins for room guests and swimming pool customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive guest relationships.
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and develop a strong local restaurant team.
Foster teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a customer-first culture.
Establish service standards and efficient operating procedures.
Mentor and lead staff to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Marketing & Business Development
Promote the restaurant through online platforms and community engagement.
Develop creative ideas, themed events, and special promotions to attract customers to Marmora and Lake Inn.
Build the restaurant's reputation as a preferred dining destination within the community.
Identify opportunities to increase customer traffic and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in food preparation, restaurant operations, and hospitality management.
Ability to prepare and oversee multiple types of cuisine.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience in digital marketing and customer engagement.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for restaurant operations.
Required Certifications
Valid Food Handler/Food Safety Certification.
Valid Smart Serve Certification.
Service Compensation
Service compensation and contractual terms will be discussed with qualified applicants and finalized based on experience, scope of services, and operational requirements.
