Nous sommes ravis d'exposer plusieurs artistes à l'Espace Métis cette saison.
Voici les tableaux de Karine Berthelette avec une courte biographie.
Bachelière en enseignement des arts, massothérapeute et maman de deux belles ados Karine Berthelette a une pratique en peinture depuis plus de 20 ans.
Inspirée par les territoires sauvages de son enfance à aujourd’hui, ses œuvres parlent du lien sacré quelle entretient depuis toute petite avec le paysage. La nature comme refuge, lieu de confidences et de réconfort, de régénération.
Parées de dentelles et de poésie, ses peintures en appellent aussi à la protection du féminin et à l’écoute du vivant qui par surcroît incite à prendre soin de nos blessures, des lieux où l’on vit ainsi que de notre planète qui en a grandement besoin.
Un travail sensible, vibrant et enraciné.

Holding a bachelor's degree in art education, a massage therapist, and the proud mother of two wonderful teenage daughters, Karine Berthelette has been practicing painting for more than 20 years.
Inspired by the wild landscapes that have shaped her life since childhood, her work reflects the sacred bond she has always shared with nature. The natural world becomes a place of refuge, quiet reflection, comfort, and renewal.
Infused with delicacy and poetry, her paintings also speak to the protection of the feminine and to a deeper awareness of all living things. They invite us to care for our own wounds, the places we inhabit, and our planet, which so greatly needs our attention.
Her work is deeply sensitive, vibrant, and firmly rooted in a profound connection with the natural world.
