Closure Decision
After much deliberation and with a heavy heart, I have decided that The Crossing Restaurant will close its doors and vacate the Mile Zero Motel as of August 31st. This decision was not made lightly; however, I believe moving to a smaller, more manageable space is necessary for me to continue operating independently.
Adjusted Operating Hours
Full Dine-In Service
From now until August 17, 2025, The Crossing will offer full dine-in service:
• Weekdays: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Weekends: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Modified Hours
Between August 18th and 24th, the hours will shift to:
• 6:00 am – 11:00 am
• 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• These hours apply on both weekdays and weekends.
Final Week of Service
During the final week, August 25th to 31st:
• 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Pizza service only: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• These hours apply on both weekdays and weekends.
Gratitude and Next Steps
I am deeply grateful for the support and patronage from each customer over the past five years. Living and working in Midway has been a pleasure, and I look forward to taking a brief break before establishing a new location. My goal is to return to what I love—serving great food to this community—as soon as possible.
