We're working on ideas for our Spring 2019 menu. Thinking we should have some lamb on the menu. Grilled lamb chop with rosemary, garlic and basil, mushroom polenta with balsamic drizzle and Asian style stir fry vegetable. Representing three food centres, Greek, Asian and Italian. Would you eat this?

Hello! Its been a crazy summer for us - and I'm sure for you too. We've not been able to open the Grill on the Gull this summer except for private functions. We miss seeing you all and serving up Grill on the Gull pastas, pizzas and our regular tasty menu. Hey... it is MY favorite place to eat and I miss it! As summer is pretty much over (if it really ever started.. lol) we won't be opening until next season. Watch for us!

We are still repairing damage from the spring flood (where Minden was declared a state of emergency). We had very limited access to the building during and after the flood and that set us back on our normal spring opening ritual. As a result of the flood there was work to the building that had to be completed. Of course, finding people to do the work was a real challenge. So the good news is that we're in the final painting stage. Hopefully we'll have everything back to normal shortly. Thank you to our neighbours and regular customers for your kind thoughts and patience while we deal with this. Pictured below is our basement window during the flood. As you can figure out, we had a lot of water inside.

Unfortunately we have been impacted by FLOOD2017 and will not be able to open in May as we had scheduled. Apologies to our loyal customers. Our sister restaurant next door, the Dominion Hotel, is ready to rock this weekend with live entertainment, great food and we'll all be our there. Drop in and see us!
