Vandalism alert. Every year we have opened there is always youth that start somewhere, and do better. This year, is testing us. We work hard to offer a safe public space that we own. It is hard to justify continuous improvements when it costs to fix. Happy to provide a safe space. Only if the parents train the youth to respect the space.

This public access dock was built last year in honour of our heavenly brother Mike Bolton. Today he would have been 52. In August 2021 he passed away in the swim portion of a half Ironman competition. Happy heavenly birthday Mike! We built this dock in honor of you and as a reminder to be safe out there in the water.

Did you know the B112 trail runs through our little establishment? B112 goes from the Village of Gelert, to North of Brady lake. It also connects to 3 other trails. It’s like the queens highway for local winter sledding adventures We love to support the Haliburton County Snowmobile Association - HCSA. Too bad about the side of car. Not the first, not the last! 🤣🔥
