I am not obsessed nor freaking out, but yes shaking my head. Yes we were closed the 6th and I posted I even closed it on Google, I had no control over the fact we got wiped out twice that weekend and we needed to close in order to remake everything!!
I am slammed for closing and not updating every app? I don’t even know what apps we have been added to lol. I try and warn everyone and apologize. But when someone is at Goats on the roof and heading home to the states they are driving right by almost, not like they came from Campbell River and headed back again but again I am sorry we have to close off and on.
To go to every online app, yelp Google etc and post the same sh*tty 1 star tells me a lot about this person, if I said it I would prob get banned lol. The part that makes me shake my head the most “we were going to buy 5 or 6 dozen Nanaimo bars”? Umm no not unless there is a preorder and that week no it wouldn’t have happened, I had a 1000 to do that week. We are a small bakery and not able to produce more than we do. It’s Trev and I only we don’t have red seal bakers etc. we are a small ma and pa doing the best we can.
Please be kind people the world would be a very beautiful place.

I know some of you have negative things to say about the changing of hours, just know we are trying to do what’s best for us, U and the success of the Bakery.
I am 64 and still not back in shape from my back being broken in 4 places and the lung issues (mold) (I sure have come along way tho) so trying to figure out the limitations of what we can produce, while maintaining my own health and well being and looking after trevs health also.
We will have a few changes over the next bit until we can figure this out and still be operational as we really don’t want to sell but have to be realistic.

To start we will close at 7 pm Mon to Wed

Thursday (night market to be decided on)
Friday and Saturday are going to be reduced to prob 8 pm

Sunday 6 pm

Monday morning and we have to stay closed!! Sorry!!
Between being short staffed, Reds health and some pretty big orders to fill we need a catch up day!!
We had two complete sell out days on weekend which put Red way behind as she didn’t see that comin lol BUT your support is amazing THANK YOU!!
Ted says mom should stay home and loaf but she has about a thousand Nanaimo bars to make. No loafin!!
