If you’ve been in the cafe recently, you’ve likely felt the absence of someone who was truly the heart and soul of John Ward. 
 
Whether you knew Rebecca as a customer, friend, supplier, or simply admired her work from afar, you’ll understand how deeply she cared for this space, her team, and the community around it. 
 
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of support over these past weeks; the hugs, flowers, cards, kind words, and shared memories. It has meant more than we can express. Sharing this space with our community has brought great strength and comfort to so many of us during this difficult time.  
 
Our doors are open, and we’ll continue serving great coffee in honour of Rebecca and all the love and dedication she poured into this space.

Over the years this cafe has brought together some pretty incredible women. What started out as coworkers has often turned into deep friendships that will last a lifetime. So grateful for our amazing crew.
