About Us

In the spring of 1976, the Chances R Restaurant was established and located in Shopper's City mall on the corner of Baseline and Woodroffe. The following year saw Nick Bouris, a graduate from the Hotel and Restaurant faculty of Niagara College, join the management team and within a few years became the restaurant's only working partner. In 1998, Brian and Nick became sole owners of the C

hances R and immediately began drawing up the blueprints for a new restaurant at the future College Square. In March 2003, the newly designed Chances R opened its doors with unbound enthusiasm and some new additions to the partnership team, Mike Bouris and Matt Moore. Since then, the restaurant has received outstanding accolades and has served over a million customers. The Consumers Choice Award for "Ottawa's Best Family Restaurant" had been awarded to Chances R for the past seven consecutive years. We are also extremely proud to be nominated in 2009 for the "Service Excellence Award" by the Nepean Chamber of Commerce and the "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Ottawa Restaurant Association.

We’ve got some good news… it’s turkey time again 🦃

Join us this Easter weekend for our classic in-house turkey dinner, available Friday through Sunday.

We’re serving up roast herb butter turkey with thyme, garlic & bread stuffing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce, and house-made gravy — all the comfort you want on one plate.

Enjoy it as a 3-course table d’hôte for $36.50, starting with a fresh chef salad and finishing with your choice of chocolate mousse cake or New York cheesecake.
Or go with our traditional roast turkey dinner for $25.50.

Dine in or take it to go — whatever works best for you.

Reservations are recommended as this one always fills up.
