Main Street, Hungry Brew Hops Public House & Eatery (HBH) opened its doors in February 2014. As the first gastropub in Newmarket – and York Region for that matter – HBH has been proudly serving its patrons ever since. ot his first gig as a line cook at an east end bowling alley at the age of 16. Making his way through the ranks, it took over 20 years before Boris had the opportunity to open his first restaurant. After a 24-month long period of construction + permit + delays (and then more construction + more permits + more delays), Boris’ life-long dream finally became a reality.
