With 4 days to go the realistic chaos of Midland’s butterfestival is in full swing! A CRAZY day but the best one of the year. I know the Maids’ Cottage and all our butter tart baking pals are excited to see the adoring public and spread sugar a little bit more this weekend.

That’s right, move over Christmas, your birthday, Halloween, New Years you name it. Find The Maid’s Cottage at Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival !

We’re bringing 6 award winners (huh, would you look at that a perfect half dozen 😏) and other tasty wonders. Our lines may be long but don’t be deterred. We’re moving wicked fast, it’s a line for a reason and you know that you have at least one thing in common with your line neighbours. YOU LOVE YOUR MAIDS’ COTTAGE BUTTER TARTS! What a great way to break the ice with a new friend.

Our story started with one mom’s dream, is owned and carried on by two moms, and most of our butter tart makers and friendly faces at the counter? You guessed it — they’re moms too.

To say we’re a mom-centred business would be an understatement. 💐
