It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions that we make this announcement today.
When we opened Queen Bean Café, our vision was to create an upscale café where families could come and enjoy a little bit of respite away from the chaos of Clifton Hill and a place locals could be proud of and feel at home.
Over the years, that vision came to life, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
With over 433 consistent Google reviews, we are ranked amongst the top 20% of best restaurants on all of Google.
We have won various awards, including:
Emerging Business Award from Chamber of Commerce,
2022 Businesses that Give Back Award,
Quality Business Award 2022 - Café of the Year
Quality Business Award 2023 - Café of the Year
and Niagara Falls Review - Café of the Year, we truly became a success and built a brand that we can all be proud of.
We have built a catering brand that has had the honour of serving some of the most elite and respected wineries and businesses in Niagara Region. We are honoured you chose us.
However, the past couple of years have been challenging, and the pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on our business. The landscape changed, tourism has not fully recovered, and despite our best efforts, we have struggled to return to normal operations.
While we are uncertain what the next chapter will hold, we have to inform you we will be turning off our grinders and shutting down our ovens to close permanently, effective July 31, 2023. This decision was not made lightly, as most of you know my whole heart and soul is in this business.
As much as we would love to continue serving this wonderful community, financially, it does not make sense to keep the café open under the current circumstances.
To our loyal customers, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and patronage over the years. You have been the backbone of our success, and we cannot thank you enough for choosing Queen Bean Café as your go-to spot for delicious food and warm ambiance.
