An internationally renowned, fourth-generation pâtissier, Thomas Haas gained experience in Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and North America before settling in Vancouver and opening his own namesake chocolaterie, patisserie and café in 2005. Vancouver Magazine’s Pastry Chef of the Year in 2011, ’13, ’14 ’15 and '16 and Best Bakery

in 2017, Thomas Haas uses only the finest raw ingredients sourced both locally and from around the globe and, in keeping with family custom, eschews the notion of assembly lines and mass production techniques, instead trusting in a talented team of pastry chefs and chocolatiers whose finesse and sensitivity is lovingly expressed in every hand-spun confection. Thomas Haas products are exclusively available at both his Kitsilano and North Vancouver cafés as well as select leading hotels, retailers and restaurants across North America.

Another Year.
Another Birthday.
Another reminder that time is precious and we can’t put it on hold.
This amazing woman turned 81 today.
Got married at 20. Started with my dad the family pastry shop-Café from scratch at 21. Had my older sister at 22.
I don’t remember that she ever took a sick day. Lucky her.
Times were different then.
Calm & Support are her trademarks. Love is her gateway.

We are a little bit all over the place this year but we hope with this configuration we will be able to provide you with all your needs while still fulfilling your expectations! Starting tomorrow we will be selling out on items we can’t replenish quick enough but rest assured our shelves will be stocked well. We are running tight on our Yule log numbers and will stop taking orders most likely by Friday….so don’t be ……”that” guy / girl/ whatever😉. Stollen and chocolate gift boxes are in constant production. Our Blak bars are sold out and so are some of our signature creations. Truffle trees are being made to order until they are not 🤞. Michael Buble is performing daily (via Spotify), our smiles are real and so is the queue. See you tomorrow! 🙏❤️🙏
