🤩🤩🤩Long before the trailers and food truck with all the fancy equipment - there was me & my Treat Shack.
I loved the simplicity of this outdoor concept. I have always enjoyed the face to face interaction that comes with the SUMMER! Outdoor season is finally here - although you won’t see the Treat Shack around town…you will most certainly see me & the Frantastic Food Trailer!!! Come say hi when you do!

Yesterday’s housewarming spread was all about elevated single-serve bites and easy grazing ✨

From fresh fruit cups and crisp veggie shooters to charcuterie cones and handheld savoury bites, every guest had something delicious to grab, mingle with, and enjoy. These individual portions are one of my favourite ways to cater a gathering — beautiful presentation, easy service, and zero fuss for the host.

65th workshop magic ✨

Susan gathered an incredible group of BFF’s for a hands-on, laughter-filled experience—and these boards did not disappoint! From salami roses to sweet-and-savory pairings (yes… even cupcakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries & pretzels made an appearance), everyone brought their creativity to the table and left with something they were proud of.

The best part? It wasn’t just about food—it was about connection, learning something new, and having a whole lot of fun along the way. Celebrating Susan 💙

Hi, I’m Fran 👋 and if you’re new here (or it’s been a while), here’s a proper re-introduction.

I’m the founder of Frantastic Events — a hands-on food studio based in Oshawa, creating memorable food experiences through both catering and interactive workshops.

On one side, I design and deliver catering that’s all about generous, beautiful, flavour-forward food for events, celebrations, corporate functions, and everything in between.

On the other side, I run immersive cooking and baking workshops where people actually get in the kitchen and learn by doing — from cinnamon buns and grazing boards to private group experiences, team building, and youth programs.

Everything I do is rooted in one thing: food brings people together. Whether it’s a perfectly catered table at your event or a group laughing through a flour-dusted baking class, it’s about connection, creativity, and a really good experience.
