Can’t remember if it’s a lyric in a Beatles song or one of those old sayings that just ring true. Something about life happening while you’re busy making other plans.
Life, in all its unpredictable splendor and sorrow. A lot of trying, with set backs, some of them deep, much unwelcome stuff over the past several years.
Our 2 families here at the bakeshop have not been immune.
Yet – some plans that we abandoned, or let go, are working out, and here we are – this one plan is happening.
Travel to visit family, friends, give and get some real lovin hugs.
There might be tears again – happy ones this time.
We close up shop from July 1 - 16. Re open July 17.
