This is us, the raw, real version of my girls and me. ❤️

Fresh out of bed, snuggled on the couch with our favourite girl, Noli, our 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. 🐾

I thought it was a good time to share a little about how we got here.

It’s been quite the adventure—one we never could have planned, but one we’re grateful to be walking through together.

Something you may not know about us is that we spent nearly three years living in Nova Scotia, from September 2022 until May 2025.

When we moved back to the area where I grew up, our goal was to be closer to my parents, family, and friends, and to help with my parents’ farm and produce business. This past winter, we decided to expand that vision, and Table & Kin was born.

Like many things in life, our plans didn’t unfold quite the way we expected. Building our forever home has turned into a much longer journey than we ever imagined. We’ve now spent over 19 months working through the permit process with the NEC. In the meantime, we’ve been moving between my parents’ basement, an off-grid cabin, our trailer, and camping while we wait.

When we moved to Nova Scotia, we were looking for an adventure, and we certainly found one. Those three years were filled with exploring, learning, and growing as a family. We just didn’t realize that moving back home would become an even bigger adventure.

We’re still waiting on those permits, but we’re hopeful and praying for forward movement soon.

This little business has become such a bright spot during a season of waiting. Every order, every kind message, and every person who chooses to support Table & Kin helps our family build something we’re incredibly proud of.

Thank you for being here, for trusting us to feed your family, and for cheering us on. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 🥕 ❤️
