The Weekend has dropped anchor once again, and our little harbour be bursting with artists and fresh faces from every corner of the map! With Plein Air Festival painting the town in fine colors, The Salty Spoon will be keeping the galley fires lit until 6pm tomorrow eveing!

"The Salty Spoon is proud to be a Community Sponsor for the 10th annual Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival (PIPAF) for June 16-21, 2026, hosted by Parrsboro Creative.

The festival welcomes 30 juried artists from across North America to capture the beauty and mystery of the spectacular Bay of Fundy.

The artists compete for awards presented by Ceremony on Saturday evening. Their work is exhibited at the Hall on Saturday evening and all day Sunday, and can even be purchased directly off the easel while they paint (Sunday Bandstand).

PIPAF is recognized as one of the most successful plein air festivals in Canada, as it draws international, national and local interest.

The Salty Spoon wholeheartedly welcomes the artists and visitors to this annual celebration of Art on the Parrsboro Shore. Welcome All!
