Every stray animal that enters the care of the Georgina Animal Shelter is held under a 5 day redemption hold not including the day the pet arrives or any day in which the shelter is closed to the public. During the redemption period the shelter is unable to consider any adoption requests. Georgina Animal Shelter’s first priority is always to reunite lost pets with their owners.
