LIQUIDATION SALE

We will start liquidating inventory on Saturday October 22 and will continue sell off until the end of the month. There will be set pricing on some items and others will be by reasonable offer. Come down and see us between 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!!! We will be open 11:30 - 8 today. Starting to serve turkey dinner with all the trimmings at 2:30. Hope to see you here.

With a not so heavy heart I regret to say as of October 10, The Funky Monkey Cafe will cease to exist. I received this morning an extortion lease increase, which I refuse to agree to. I pride myself on offering good food at a reasonable price and will not tack on a $2 - $3 increase on each of my menu items just to line my landlords pockets. I will bow out gracefully knowing a ran a good business that many people enjoyed. My last day of operation will be October 9, which I will offer thanksgiving dinner for the last time. Starting on the 10th I will begin to sell off my inventory. It has been more than a pleasure to share my experience with all my friends and neighbours and wish to thank everyone for your patronage.

Tomorrow is trade for toys Tuesday!!! Bring in a new, unused toy for the Princeton Crisis Centre Christmas Hampers and receive a free breakfast plus beverage!! Valid 8 am - 11 am.

We will be closed tomorrow Friday June 17 and possibly June 18. I need to tend to a family medical emergency in Vancouver. I'd like to thank you all in advance for patience and understanding. I'm not too sure why I'm thinking of Christmas, maybe it's been this cold dreary weekend. I've been thinking about the crisis centre and the struggle they had getting enough for all our friends and neighbours last year. I've decided maybe now is the time to start collecting for the Christmas Hampers. I'm personally going to start buying one toy a week to go towards the hampers. If anyone wishes to do the same or even add just one, please feel free to drop it off at the Funky Monkey and I'll ensure it gets into the proper hands.
