A little less scrolling. A little more human connection. Join us at Eden Restaurant 186 for a shared dining experience where guests gather around the table with people they may not know yet. Book one seat or several, enjoy an evening of beautiful food, conversation, and laughter, and maybe leave with a few new friends.

Who’s Coming?Part of the fun is seeing familiar faces pop up. Guest names will be shared prior to the dinner so you can spot friends, reconnect with old ones, or convince someone to join you for the evening. Around here, communities run deep and stories run longer. Sometimes the guest list sparks excitement to catch up with someone you haven’t seen in years, and sometimes it simply helps everyone feel comfortable knowing who they’ll be sharing the table with. Either way, we want every guest to arrive ready for a relaxed evening of good food, laughter, and new connections.

Somewhere between the tickets stacking up and the burners going full tilt…
there’s this tiny pocket of time where everything pauses.

Just for a second.

That’s where the weird lives.
The music turned up a little too loud.
The absolutely ridiculous dancing.
The “what are we even doing right now?” moments.

And honestly… those are the parts I remember most.

Not the rush. Not the stress.
But the people who leaned into the chaos with me—
who took 30 seconds to be completely unhinged,
laugh it out, and then jump right back into it like nothing happened.

We don’t talk about it enough, but those little breaks?
They’re what keep you going.

They’re the reset.
The breath.
The reminder that this job is hard… but it’s also full of really good humans.

So here’s to the in-between moments.
The ones that make the long nights worth it.

And to everyone who’s ever danced in a kitchen with me—
you’re the reason I made it through some of those services.

2019. Purlieu days.

Weekends meant I had a little shadow in the kitchen with me.

Nohla would come to work and help where she could—picking herbs, folding towels, organizing prep, and learning how a kitchen actually runs.

It wasn’t always easy bringing your kid into a busy space like that. But it mattered. She learned early about respect for the work, for the space, and for doing things properly.

Those small jobs kept her busy… but they also made her part of it.

Looking back now, those weekends mean a lot more than I realized at the time.
