First of all, we’d like to acknowledge all the wonderful staff members that have come to us some for short time, some for a little longer. We’ve had the pleasure to witness students moving through high school, university, and eventually onto their big bold lives. Some have moved on to big careers, marriage, and babies. We feel really fortunate to have witnessed their growth and maturing to adulthood. We are so proud of every every young person. We have to thank each and every one of them for their hard work, patience, and kindness towards our guests. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.
We are so grateful for the small team we have today. We have said out loud that we would not be in business today if it were not for our Irish sister, Eleanor. Eleanor has graciously stayed with us for 10 1/2 years, she treats our business like it’s her own. We couldn’t ask for a more compassionate, naturally kind, and thoughtful person to manage our front end. She has been a true gift to the business and especially to us personally.
Nathaly, who’s been with us in the kitchen for many years. She is incredibly hard-working, creative, determined, and such an incredible joy to have in the kitchen. She has a sense of humour that is unparalleled, and we so appreciate the levity and energy that she brings to the kitchen.
We’ve been so fortunate to have Ella and Mahaylia as our barista‘s this past year. They are smart, hard working, witty, creative, and calm young humans that have tremendous social conscious.
When we worry about the world, these these two reassure us that the future is in good hands. (Continued in comments) 👇
