Hey folks! Tomorrow (Oct 8) at 12pm we are BBQ’ing burgers with chipotle potato salad at 1205 15th Ave (in the H**p Haven parking lot). This is a pay-what-you-can BBQ from $0 and up with all proceeds going towards Regina’s community fridges.

Sadly it's not surprising Scott Moe, who killed a woman and has never faced any consequences or showed any level of accountability, would be the worst leader Saskatchewan could have during these trying times. He cares more about his hardline base who receive their medical advice from Joe Rogan and Fox news than he does the majority of Saskatchewan citizens who trust and believe in science. Scott Moe and Paul Merriman should resign.

The Sask Party makes one feel like Saskatchewan is only full of ignorant white supremacists, but we know that is not true. Saskatchewan has beautiful progressive roots. We are the home of legendary leaders such as Chief Big Bear and Chief Poundmaker. Labour leader Annie Buller led the fight for coal workers in Estevan, culminating to the Estevan Riot. The battle for socialized healthcare was fought and won right here in Saskatchewan.

As we prepare to open our new joint, we want to thank our community which is made up of beautiful, progressive folks who bring so much joy and happiness. We are curious: Who influenced you folks to become Sasky progressives? In the comments, share a short story about who or what makes you proud to be a progressive in Saskatchewan for your chance to win 1 of 3 family lasagna dinners. We will prepare and deliver the winning 3 meals the week of September 13

For us, our grandfather influenced us immensely. He was a life long pacifist who served in World War 2 as a medic and we remember him opposing the Canadian military entering Afghanistan.

We’re making a batch of 🍉 watermelon soup 🍉 to hand out at the community fridge on 12th Ave today from around 1130 - 1230. Stop by, say hi, and drop off some cold treats, water, or other food / pantry items for the fridge!
Food insecurity is a huge problem in our city. Many institutions lay claim that they are trying to help end food insecurity; however, most struggle with institutional complacency. This is why we encourage folks to support the three community fridges (Dewdney, Cathedral and Heritage). These fridges operate through mutual aid - community members helping community members. Let's work together to help end food insecurity through solidarity not charity!

Hey folks! Hope everyone is staying cool during this heat wave 🔥 Sadly we will not be opening the trailer this season; however, we are busy getting ready to open up a restaurant in our neighborhood! More to come on that soon .... We miss you all and are excited to feed you all ASAP!

Similar to the RCMP and the Canadian military, the Regina Police Service has a deep rooted culture of bullying, misogyny, and racism. Listening to survivor’s stories last summer made it evident that the RPS fails to protect our women and continuing to over-fund the RPS will lead to more gender-based violence. We need to invest in harm reduction and healing!

We urge folks to contact the mayor's office and your city councillor to voice your support of reallocating police funds to community organizations.
