It's with a very heavy heart that we've decided to close our doors with Crafty Crumbs. It has truly been an amazing journey, I am forever grateful for all of the people who have showed up for us in ways I could never imagine. I've been blessed with a very supportive community and the people behind the scenes that made everything possible for me. I can not thank you guys enough for letting me build this experience for you all. 💗

We've been making these BBQ beef sandwiches for events and special orders for some time now and they always get raving reviews! We love any opportunity to cater, if you're looking for food for an event, look no further! 🍽

This is one of my favorite things to whip up: tandoori avocado toast with smoked mushrooms and egg. Not only is it tasty, I also don't have to worry about my sugar spiking. This meal is packed full of healthy fats and fiber.

We made a delicious roasted cabbage this week, made with simple ingredients of red cabbage, onion, garlic, white wine and cream.
Cabbage is an incredible super food, filled with antioxidants and fiber. It also helps stabilize blood sugar and prevents glucose spikes.

Here's a small recap on meals we've been making this week: a mongolian beef inspired creamy penne and maple curry chicken.
Milk products are a high fat, high protein item that is a great addition to meals when being diabetes conscious, as it does not significantly increase glucose levels. 🥛

We've decided to start participating in Aprons in Action for Diabetes Canada. We'll be fundraising until September and hopefully qualify for the vote for the semi-finals. Link to donate can be found at the bottom.
