RIP OUTLAWS
RIP Outlaws Smokehouse & Pizza.
Over the past nine days we have been back-and-forth trying to navigate where to go from here after our commercial smoker exploded. With the smoker being originally purchased in summer of 2022 as a seasonal piece of equipment and only operating from then until now for a total of 18 months, we are shocked that something that is supposed to be held to such a high standard can even do this.
Luckily, we both walked away from this unharmed, but that was pure luck. If either of us had been standing any closer, especially considering one of us was in the room 2 feet away from it at the time, we would not be here.
We have contacted both the distributor and the manufacturer of this piece of equipment and have received no support. The manufacturer refuses to even call us back. The distributor did come out to look at the scene but didn’t want to even take any of the pieces for investigation (the manufacturer apparently doesn’t need them).
After all of this, we have had to make the difficult decision that Outlaws will not be returning. We simply do not have another $25,000 to spend on the equipment after just purchasing this business last year, and at this point we don’t want to. It all really boils down to the fact that they cannot tell us why this happened or even want to attempt to figure it out. Was it a faulty gauge? A faulty valve? We will never know! Therefore, there is no way to prevent this from happening and the next time we might not get so lucky.

Although it’s a sad day for Outlaws, The Sugar Spider remains standing! We have got the go ahead that we can clean up as the appropriate people have all the photos and videos they need. We will be onto bigger and better things🔥. Don’t worry we will be back at this year with a whole new concept that we will spend the next couple months perfecting. Prince William Street will still be slinging donairs & pizzas (just with a little revamp.
