We had the absolute sweetest thing happen at Julius Pizza on Wednesday afternoon ❤️

An amazing gentleman named Steve came into the restaurant and decided he wanted to pay it forward to the community by covering the tabs for students and even some of our regular customers throughout the afternoon completely out of the kindness of his heart.

Watching the reactions honestly made our day. The kids were absolutely flabbergasted, running over to give him handshakes and fist bumps, and the other customers in the restaurant were loving it just as much. It created such a happy atmosphere in the middle of an ordinary day and reminded us how special our community really is.

Steve, thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. We love seeing things like this because it truly brightens people’s day and makes a real impact ❤️

We had another huge order on Saturday for the amazing AEI Canada International Students from STM, SJHS, HVHS, and SHS and honestly… these students support our restaurant CONSTANTLY and we appreciate them so much ❤️

Not only do they order for their events and groups, but so many of them spend their lunch breaks with us at Julius Pizza throughout the school year. The uptown schools bring so much life into our restaurant during the day and we truly love having them here. The kids are always so kind, respectful, fun, and appreciative and we’re really grateful for all of the support they continue to show our small business.

If anyone has ever considered becoming a host family for an international student, this is honestly such a wonderful program. We’ve had nothing but great experiences with the students who come through our doors.

We said it before and we’ll say it again… the teenagers are keeping Charlotte Street wholesome 🥹🍕

A sweet mom reached out with a special request to help her daughter ask her sweetie to prom using his favourite pizza spot, Julius Pizza ❤️

A pizza that simply said: PROM? 🍕

And the answer was YES!!! 💃🕺

We honestly feel so lucky to be a tiny part of these memories for our community and these amazing kids. From lunch break hangouts, to hacky sack tournaments, to promposals… we love watching these moments happen inside our little pizza shop.

Congrats you two, we hope prom is as iconic as this pizza 🍕✨

Every single day, these STM kids come into the restaurant and honestly, we’ve grown so fond of them. Today I looked outside and caught them playing hacky sack out front and it just made me smile. 🫶

Construction or not, these guys are loyal 😂 They still make the trek down Charlotte Street every day and continue supporting our small business. We truly appreciate them and love seeing the energy and life they bring to the restaurant daily.

The future generation is pretty awesome. ❤️

It’s official… Charlotte Street now has ROAD CLOSED signs up encouraging the public not to drive down the street, and they’ve also placed signs on Horsfield Street.

As of right now, you ARE still able to drive down Horsfield and cut into our parking lot or pull up in front of the restaurant. If you do come up Charlotte Street, you can also still turn right onto Duke Street at this time. We’re not sure how long access will remain this way, but for now we are still fully OPEN and operating as usual! 🍕❤️

Let’s hope this city work doesn’t last all summer… although knowing construction season, it probably will 😅 Either way, Julius Pizza will remain open throughout it all and we truly appreciate everyone continuing to support us during the chaos.

If you’re having trouble getting to the restaurant, give us a call! If staffing allows, we’ll do our best to bring your order out to where you’ve safely pulled over nearby within reason.
