The fruit cups were my favorite. They have flavored syrup on the bottom, then a layer of fruit, shaved ice, some more syrup, more fruit and then topped with slicea of mangos, apples, little wafers and finally condensed milk. Talk about sugar rush and packed full of fresh fruit! Probably the only times I ever got this much sugar on my trip! Soooooo delish! Gonna try to reproduce this deliciousness at home :)

Enjoying a coffee harvest :)
The next time you buy coffee think of the men and women who labor daily for very little money in a very hot and dangerous terrain to bring us something we enjoy on a daily basis. From now on....I plan on buying fair-trade coffee so the money will go into their pockets. I hope you can do the same.

Well, another Christmas season has flown by.
I am sooooo ready to kick the colds butt and say so long.....and so that's what I'm gonna do for a bit! This SUGARMAMA is going on a holiday and I won't be back until Feb.
I am excited for this much deserved break. And I am also excited to be inspired by a whole new culture and world and am hoping that I can bring some new flavors back home for you to enjoy!
Can't wait to see what I will all find and for you to be the recipients of it!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and were able to stuff their bellies full!

Just wanted to let you all know....I'm not going to be at the market this wkend....have not been able to get ready for it....been under the weather....so I apologize for that. But I hope you can still make it out to the market and check out all the amazing things we have to offer!
